Planned office / lab extension
Progressing into 2018, an overhaul of the central office area and unit 1 laboratory is underway, with a view to creating more office space and the integration of the laboratories with a new extension and upgrade.
Installed new Duplishear mixer
Following the success of the installation of a 200k Duplishear DP3 mixer, dedicated to security products, Inktech have installed a 1000k Duplishear DP25 mixer dedicated to varnishes.
Joined British Coatings Federation
In 2017 Inktech became a full member of BCF, which represents the interests of the UK decorative, industrial and powder coatings, printing inks and wall covering manufacturers
Extension to carpark completed
In 2017 the grounds to the back of the site were converted into a carpark, with bays for 9+ cars and a bike shed. This facilitates logistics in the main carpark and allows expansion for additional staff.
EFIA annual print awards 2018
Two Silver trophies were awarded in the Flexo Print on Film category at the European Flexographic Industry Association awards 2018 for packaging produced using Inktech inks.
