Colour management and Brand colour control are at the forefront of flexible packaging market requirements. The development of colour systems and integral software has been extensive over the past 10 years. Inktech has worked very closely with X-rite and have produced a database of colours, for all ink systems which, when used with an X-rite spectrophotometer and software, offers excellent colour match predictions and colour control.
At Inktech we can modify the databases and application of colour controls to be bespoke to each press and effectively fingerprint the process back to source.
We have implemented several systems at customers with cost savings being achieved from both less down time, more efficient colour matchings and reduction in press returns.
