Last week, Inktech had the pleasure of welcoming two bright young individuals, William Whitworth and Nathan Sharp, for their summer work experience. Over the course of a week, William and Nathan gained valuable insights into the world of liquid ink manufacturing, supporting multiple departments and learning firsthand what it takes to thrive in the industry.
William and Nathan had the opportunity to explore various aspects of Inktech’s operations, from production and quality control to logistics and administration. They worked alongside our experienced teams, contributing to real live projects and gaining practical skills that will benefit them in their future careers.
Both William and Nathan shared fantastic feedback about their time at Inktech, expressing how much they enjoyed the hands-on experience and the welcoming atmosphere of the workplace, at the Rochdale site.
“It was amazing to see how everything works behind the scenes. The team was really supportive, and I learned so much in just one week! – shared William Whitworth. “I never realised how many different roles go into manufacturing. The experience has given me a lot to think about for my future career.” – feedback from Nathan Sharp.
At Inktech, we believe in nurturing young talent and providing interesting opportunities for the next generation to explore careers in manufacturing. Initiatives like our summer work experience program help students develop key skills while giving them a taste of the exciting opportunities within the industry.
We’re proud to have played a role in William and Nathan’s career journey and look forward to welcoming more young people into the Inktech family in the future!
